The role
To support our continued growth, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager for a newly established role as part of our global sales team. Our new Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing new customer requests and strengthening existing customer relationships in the DACH region.
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales and expand the Eilersen brand of complex industrial products within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food processing industries. You will be responsible for developing the market, gaining a deep understanding of how our products create value for customers, providing value-added selling, and working closely with our engineers to define the optimal solution for each customer.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has a strong technical interest and understanding of industrial solutions, along with proven experience in business development within technical industries. The candidate will be responsible for sales in the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria) and will work closely with distributors in the area.
Professional Qualifications:
• Proven experience in B2B sales of complex industrial products, preferably within weighing systems, process automation, or related technologies.
• A strong network and knowledge of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or food industries.
• Ability to handle long sales cycles and apply a consultative sales approach.
• Strong negotiation skills, experience in contract management, and selling high-value solutions.
• Strong proficiency in CRM systems and a data-driven sales strategy.
• Willingness to travel across Europe (primarily German-speaking regions) to meet customers and attend industry fairs.
Personal Qualifications:
• Results-driven with a proactive approach to business development.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to different customer profiles.
• Independent and capable of working both individually and cross-functionally in teams.
A technical and/or commercial educational background is preferred in addition to relevant industry experience.
